I have been going through my library looking at things I have read over the years. I’ve found all kinds of things that are fascinating. Many years ago a friend from work told me about the book mentioned below. I bought the book and later the CD’s so I could listen to them while driving in my sales territory. I’m so glad to reread this timeless work.
A chapter from an Earl Nightingale book, Lead the Field. Nightingale talks about an African farmer who sold his ranch to look for diamonds elsewhere on the continent. He was unsuccessful in his search and died disillusioned. The man who bought his ranch discovered diamonds in the creek bed on the property and became quite wealthy,
The point being that when we explore what we have where we are we see vast untapped resources. We don’t need to frantically look elsewhere to find something else. What we really need is the patience and wisdom to discover our own treasure.
Our own mind is our richest resource. When we search it and explore it we might find all kinds of treasures. Patience and wisdom………..
